10KW Grid Connected Solar System

A local farm shed Solar PV install in Orange, using 33 x Suntech HiPower 370w Solar Panels and a 10KW Fronius Symo Inverter.

This system was installed recently on a large farm at Borenore NSW. The farm has substantial power usage with two houses on the property, multiple pumps and a pool. Our HPS team analysed the sites power usage, considered available roof space and inspected the sites electrical layout so an effective system could be designed for the customer.

Upon inspection of the electrical layout, HPS found there was a master/slave metering setup on the property and the current clients retailer had been incorrectly billed. After liaising with the network distributor, we were able to have the master/slave metering setup removed, which in turn removed an additional supply charge from the customer’s bill and rectify the double billing issue.

Unfortunately we have seen this occur multiple times with these uncommon legacy metering situations and as experts in the solar industry are happy to advise customers on any questions they may have.
